Inspired by rich fantasy MMOs like World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV, Zenith is a vibrant adventure built around the true immersion that only VR can provide. Players will actually feel like they’ve entered a magical world as they explore intricately detailed environments, chat with NPCs, and group with other players to go adventuring. But the world of Zenith is dangerous, crawling with monsters that have been empowered by a dark god that yearns to break free of his prison. Combat is fast and visceral, and players must fight monsters in real-time by swinging their sword or moving their hands to cast spells. You can’t hide behind cool-downs and macros in Zenith, you must physically confront your enemies to succeed. But for those brave enough to embrace the call, an endless adventure awaits... Spend hours wandering fantasy environments so beautiful you’ll wish you lived in Zenith. Strike, block, and dodge in real-time combat that demands you move your body to defend yourself and defeat your enemies. Or use magic to literally warp time and turn the environment to your advantage. Interact with the dynamic world that surrounds you. Procedural quests, unique crafting, and other exciting discoveries await players. Partner with your friends and make new ones as you adventure together. Forge lasting bonds on your quest and be part of a community that will grow for years.
History
Early historyLauren and Andy met through the Oculus Launch Pad program in 2017. They worked together on Conjure Strike, a multiplayer VR FPS/MOBA, which launched in the fall of 2018. By the time 2019 rolled around, they were hooked on VR experiences and decided to create the world of Zenith VR together.
After thatOver the course of 2019-until now the team has grown to 26 people which includes all the core functional roles needed to make a fully fledged MMO come to life.
The Co-foundersMaking an amazing online world is a dream for both co-founders and they historically have proven the ability to build and release games together.
